Field Benchmark
Where you stand against the rest of the cooler, on the inputs and the outcomes. Three reference points on every metric: you, all other vendors combined, and the top-quartile line.
PepsiCo is below the median on schedule compliance and order deviation, and above the median on Sports Drink Facing Fill Rate and Water Facing Fill Rate.
Overall
Top quartile of vendor performance by district. Lower is better where the label says so.

By category
The categories PepsiCo plays in, each against the same two reference points.
CSD
Below all other vendors combined. The gap is small and it is a service gap, not a space gap — the facings are there, they run empty between stops.
Facing Fill Rate
84.2%
Schedule compliance
76%
Sports Drink
Ahead of all other vendors combined and short of the top quartile. Gatorade is the strongest read Pepsi has on Circle K shelves.
Facing Fill Rate
88%
Schedule compliance
84%
Energy(Celsius)
Well behind all other vendors combined, and the widest spread to the top quartile of any category. Under-spaced and under-serviced at once — the same story the Innovation Scorecard tells on Celsius.
Facing Fill Rate
81%
Schedule compliance
64%
Water
Level with all other vendors combined. Water holds between stops, so the service gap barely shows up here.
Facing Fill Rate
86%
Schedule compliance
79%
Tea & Juice
Just behind all other vendors combined. Stops that roll a day are what empties these facings — the orders were written against the original date.

What would close the gap
Three mechanisms, in the order they move the cooler.
- 1
Schedule compliance: most of the gap is stops that rolled a day, not stops that never happened. Holding the committed day — or recommitting before the order is written — closes it, because the order was planned against the original date.
- 2
Order deviation: order to throughput per facing instead of to last week's order. Both directions count, so trimming the over-ordered half moves the number as much as fixing the sold-out half.
- 3
Service exceptions per 100 store-weeks: most of what store managers log is merchandising time and promotional material, not product. Longer stops in region 4220, and posting and pulling the promotional set on the same visit.
Standing over time
Facing fill rate on PepsiCo facings by period, against the top-quartile line at 90%.
